After the suspension of the 774 job, The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan; and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Thursday met behind closed doors with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja in a closed meeting.
The meeting conveyed on the recent misunderstanding that arose between the National Assembly and the Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, over the proposed 774,000 jobs.
According to the Senate Lawal,
“If you are an appointee of the President, you are supposed to be reflective of the attitude of the President towards the National Assembly.
