Headlines: Zainab Aliyu completes NYSC (after a trial & error in Saudi)
The chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has released the news of the passing out parade (POP) of Zainab Aliyu on Thursday through her Twitter handle.
Zainab Aliyu, a Nigerian young lady who was falsely detained in Saudi Arabia for alledged drug trafficking, on December 26, 2018 after tramadol, a drug prohibited in the country was found in her bag.
News had it that Zainab was on a lesser Hajj with her family but was arrested by security operatives in Medina over allegation that the bag bearing her name contained tramadol.
She was released from prison in April 1, 2019 and returned to Nigeria on May 13. Zainab’s arrest led to the discovery of an alledge drug cartel at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport where the crime was committed.
She pass out with the Batch ‘B’ stream 2 corps members on Thursday.
