The Attorney general of the federation; Malami had sent notifications to the new Acting Chairman of EFCC that a total number of 12 official has been suspended.
Some of the top officials suspended were part of those investigating the Attorney general.
Malami testified that he sold crude oil that was seized by the EFCC but he claimed he took legal process.
A lawyer had formerly threatened that the AGF riskes five years in jail for the sale of government’s property.
However, the former acting Chairman of EFCC has been in detention since over a week facing probe by the panel.
Magu has been accused of owning several properties outside the country.
He was also alleged to have launder over N500 billion through a bureau-de-change in Kaduna.
