SERAP has reacted to to brutalization and unlawful arrest of protesters of RevolutionNow in Abuja, Osogbo, and other parts of the country.
SERAP said that Buhari must stop the use of excessive force against protesters and allow the people to peacefully exercise their human rights.
The Department of State Services today has arrested Olawale Bakare and six others #RevolutionNow protesters in Osun State.
Several protesters were also arrested by the police and the Nigerian Army in the Abuja metropolis, Lagos, Ogun and others.
Buhari had earlier instructed the armed forces to disperse protesters, brutalize and arrest them.
